X-th SEMINAR ‘INSURANCE LAW INTEGRATION INTO THE EU INSURANCE SYSTEM – PALIĆ 2009’, 24 AND 25 APRIL 2009.
On behalf of the Association for Insurance Law of Serbia, I am advising domestic and international community that anniversary 10th Conference on Palić on the general topic ‘Integration of the Insurance (Law) of Serbia into the European Insurance System – Palić 2009’ shall take place on 24th and 25th April 2009. Highly appreciating authors’ expertise and scientific competence for insurance law, organizer of the Conference is expecting their works meet certain criteria regarding focus on the state in insurance fields or with insurance related fields in the EU and/or EU member countries, work exclusivity, certain initiative determination that may serve Serbian insurance law and system as a model, fixed work amount and observance of the submission deadline for timely redaction. As before, organizer shall publish works in the Memoir, whereas selected debate or debate abstract together with the Conference Messages shall be published in the Insurance Law Review. Conference shall be another opportunity for experts from insurance science and practice to exchange their knowledge and experience, establish or refresh acquaintances and business contacts while continuing to make friends in the Palić delightful surroundings.

GENERAL INFORMATION VENUE CONFERENCE: The Palić Lake is considered a protected area and a Park of Nature. The entire coast of the Lake is well arranged and it is some 17 km long. The coast is very attractive for its walking paths, bicycle riding or coach driving paths. Palić lake is the most popular tourist destination in Vojvodina, and the fifth most popular in Serbia. It offers various pleasures to the visitors, which are coming every year in greater number. Palić is ideal place for young people, as well as for older tourists. DURING THE CONFERENCE: 24-26 April 2009 ACCOMODATION: Accommodation of participants will be provided in the hotels and villas: PARK, JEZERO, PREZIDENT, LAGO and MASTER Hotel Park nestled in the woods, just 50 meters from Palić Lake, very elegant hotel with wellness facilities is protected by the state as a cultural monument. It’s grand interior and the en-suite rooms surround you with a sophisticated ambience, characterized by tastefully coordinated colors and stylish yet comfortable furniture. With the lake and its shoreline so close by, there is plenty of outdoor fun to enjoy. Alternatively, for a relaxing time, you can make the most of our spa centre with its sauna, jacuzzi and massage services. Hotel Jezero Tucked away in an age-old wood, it is situated at only 50 m away from the Women's beach, Lake Palić shore, and is separated from the Park Hotel with the old Great terrace. It was built in 1903 so it resembles the Main building in the bathing place, and was first named the Great Hotel. The hotel has a 24 hour guarded parking, exchange office, safe-deposit box at the reception, and luggage is transferred to the reception. In the Jezero Hotel food is served in the restaurant Mala Gostiona 100 m away from the hotel. Hotel Prezident all rooms have luxury equipment, each posses cable television with plasma TV, telephone with direct dialing and mini bar. We have eight rooms with french bed and all apartments have air-conditioner. Hotel also has aperitiv bar, exchange office, room for seminars, small room for meetings, and pool with jakuzzi. Guests have 24 hours room servis, massage, safes, wireless internet, and laundry servis. Within the hotel are summer garden, playground and parking lot. Vila Lago is located only 150m from the Lake Palić. Just a few steps from us you can find the Congress center, large number of restaurants, wine cellars, ZOO, Tennis courts, “Ženski štrand“, open summer theatre, along with various educational, social and sport activities. All rooms are equipped with the air-conditioners, cable TV, hair dryer, telephone with international line, safe, mini-bar and free internet use. Vila Master opened in May 2008, situated only few steps from Palic Lake. All rooms are very comfortable with cable TV, telephone with international line, mini-bar and free internet use.
